About
Elcom
Elcom International, Inc. was founded in 1992 to develop and license software solutions which enable companies to conduct interactive electronic commerce.
|
The
Company conducts operations through elcom,
inc., its wholly-owned eProcurement and private eMarketplace
technology solutions subsidiary. Over the last twelve years, the Company
has developed its PECOS® (Professional Electronic Commerce
Online System) technology, which offers clients remotely-hosted (by elcom)
eProcurement and eMarketplace systems and services with a single point of responsibility.
By leveraging elcom's deep IT infrastructure, mature system platforms and eCommerce expertise,
our clients can maximize their B2B eCommerce initiatives with confidence. elcom recognized very
early that the Internet was rapidly changing markets and accelerating the trend away from high
maintenance and costly enterprise-based infrastructures. Providing rapidly deployable
remotely-hosted B2B eCommerce solutions is the most cost effective way for our clients
to realize the benefits of automated procurement.
Since 1992, the Company has marketed and sold value-added services, such as
computer and business information technology (“IT”) products to
commercial clients through Elcom Services Group, Inc., the Company’s
wholly-owned IT products remarketing subsidiary. Elcom Services Group,
Inc. commenced operations as the original proof of concept for the
Company’s PECOS technology. The Company divested its U.K.-based IT
products reselling business in December 2001 and Elcom Services
Group’s IT products reselling business was divested in March 2002.
Elcom
International, Inc. has approximately 38 personnel worldwide and
